That was an X-fusion LT (long travel) air shock..now they have a HLR Air-DH specific..which I have heard good things about..To answer your question, that previous generation x-fusion LT wasn't the best choice for the gambler, but I'm am currently running a Vivid Air on my Scott Voltage and I like it a lot-very coil like..

Only had one ride..but seems to be exactly what I anticipated it would feel like..a lighter more playful Gambler..Love it!!!...I will be slowly trading/changing a few things...single crown fork, air shock or Ti Spring, lighter crankset...

I had approximately 15 rides with this shock...mostly a mix of Free Ride and some All Mt stuff. I was planning on FR and DH riding with this shock..It never lost any air pressure when I checked it/adjusted it...
